WHY PEOPLE COMMIT SUICIDE

Understanding her intentions:

I don’t want to die
I just want to close my eyes and never wake up
I don’t want to cut myself
I just want to spill the secrets and imperfections I kept hidden inside
I don’t want to drown
I just want to float over my sorrows I’ll leave behind
I don’t want to hang myself
I just want to hang the alter ego and say Goodbye
I don’t want nightmares
But I don’t like this reality
I don’t want to die
But I don’t want to live loosing the person I used to be.

Summary:
I made this poem to give a voice to the people who generally find themselves battling inner conflict. Not every suicidal person wants to die as humans we need to survive and that's why we have pain, fear, things that divert us from dying for the sake of prolonging the human race. Sometimes, it comes a point where we are done forgiving, that the life that we are in is not worth living.  You become numb to pain and you stop fearing. When you reach that kind of pain and misery, It hurts and it feels like you are the one facing it despite the millions of friends and family members that surround you every day telling you that they are with you. I just wanted to give a voice to those suffering inside. I also wanted me who care for these kind of individuals to understand that we don't choose this life, we don't decide the circumstances we are born in and this is how we react to it. We don't decide how people treat us, we don't decide what happens tomorrow or live life how we want it even if we want to. We are trying.
