The sneaker head's burden

A sneaker head collects shoes and trades them as a hobby. They can be seen in conventions where they try their best to make profits of their shoes to the point where such things have been considered a hobby. Infact such people can even distinguish between real and replica sneakers which makes them the go-to for their expertise so you know whether your shoes are worth it at it's price. Recently their has been some controversy over kids being in that conventions in regards to safety so I decided to put my twist on it and try to create a poem where I get to look at the problem from their perspective.

Times ticking,minds turning

Brains Blowing, money’s flying

Done with the old and in with the new

Gone to get me a pair of Yeezy’s shoes

Done with playtime that most kids set

Cause I got a billionaire mindset

Sell it, but it, trade it, send it

Pay my mother’s medical bills otherwise I’d regret it

I walk on the streets as a boy in a man’s body

Carrying my workplace to and forth

Your hatred corny and analysis culture

But i can’t handle small talk it’s simply just a bore

It’s on my feet

It’s in my head

It’s with me when I go to bed

At night when my thoughts should be at rest

A sneaker head worried about her mother’s debt
